The simplicity of this tiny church and its farmyard setting convey a strong sense of the remote and the romantic.
This is reinforced by the 12th century tympanum over the door, the gradually eroding shafts below, the agricultural floor and the largely unplastered walls.
This holy place, wild but not savage, is just a little enchanted.
